Lindsay Lola and I woke up early to take a walk in Great Falls. I've always gone to the Virginia side so today we went over to Maryland. So nice!

Lindsay pointed these out. I think its some kind of Oat Grass. I forget. Loved getting the right focus here! So happy we got out early for the sun rise here.

A Walk in the Fall

I've been holding onto this image in Photoshop for over a week now, playing around with different effects. Truthfully, I liked it straight out of the camera but thought I'd play around with some effects. Today, I stumbled onto the Orton Effect which is a really interesting technique of blending 2 copies of the same image, one in focus one out of focus. The product from this photo came out great. Im really happy with the way this turned into a story-book kind of photo.

This one was shot just steps away from where I work down on Constitution near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, beautiful this time of year.

These are my go-to shoes for just about everything. So comfy, I'll never get rid of them. However, they also smell like hot garbage.
